This research project was born out of the previous 3D Building Printer project, which faced various challenges in aligning with the building codes of the Municipality. In response to these challenges, the Building Technology Center was created with the aim of facilitating the usage of modern building technology, while aligning with the goals of Oman 2040.
The center has a particular focus on the development of new building standards, research on materials, and exploring the impact of insulation, natural cooling systems, and 3D printing possibilities. Through this focus, the center aims to push the boundaries of modern building technology and promote sustainable building practices.
The center's research and development efforts are essential to meet the growing demand for sustainable, energy-efficient, and cost-effective building solutions. The center's innovative approach to building technology is an essential step towards achieving the goals of Oman 2040 and creating a more sustainable future.
In summary, the Building Technology Center represents a significant investment in the future of sustainable building practices in Oman. Its focus on research and development of new building standards, materials, and technologies enables it to stay at the forefront of the industry and drive progress toward a more sustainable and eco-friendly future.
