Dr. Petrit Pasha contributed to the development of the Master Curriculum for Architecture and Urban Planning at GUtech, providing project-based consultancy services from abroad. The program development team benchmarked the proposed study program against two internationally integrated study programs: the MSc in Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Stuttgart and the Master of Urban Planning and Design at the College of Engineering, Qatar University, Doha. Additionally, they considered the curricula of TU Munich and RWTH Aachen in Germany.
Using these programs as reference points, the team developed a tailor-made program that is specifically designed to meet the needs of the Omani labor market. The program's curriculum is carefully crafted to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the field of architecture and urban planning within Oman.
Overall, the Master Curriculum for Architecture and Urban Planning at GUtech represents a significant achievement, reflecting the university's commitment to providing students with industry-relevant education. The program's development involved extensive research and benchmarking, resulting in a curriculum that is both comprehensive and tailored to Oman's unique needs.
