Xella – Competition

Nestled in the heart of Munich, this stunning 21st-century building perfectly complements the surrounding architecture of the 19th and 20th centuries. The building's design is based on a concept of three main systems: aesthetic, functional, and constructive, all interwoven to create a sustainable and elegant structure.

The building's central location in Munich inspired the idea of expressing the city's heart's beating pulse through its design. The road that runs alongside the building takes on the form of a pulse, reflecting the blood circulation in Munich's "heart." This concept of vitality and life is reflected throughout the building's design, which seamlessly blends form and function in a way that is both aesthetically pleasing and sustainable.

The combination of these three systems (aesthetic, functional, and constructive) creates a cohesive and harmonious structure that reflects the best of modern design principles. The building is not only visually striking but also functional, with a layout and features that meet the needs of its occupants while also contributing to the city's sustainability goals.

Overall, this building is a testament to the power of innovative design and the importance of sustainability in modern architecture. By uniting aesthetic, functional, and constructive systems, this building stands as a beautiful and functional representation of Munich's heart and soul.
